Grouping / Hierarchy
The Gateway Management UI uses a slightly different grouping / hierarchy than Connexion. In Connexion, the hierarchy is Group → Tab → Channel. In the Gateway UI, the hierarchy is Group → Remote Integrator → Tab → Channel.
In the Gateway UI, Group is often associated with a customer or large site which has multiple Remote Integrator installations. Within a remote agent, channels are organized within Tabs. Like Connexion, tabs can represent different products, channel operations, or other channel groupings.
The Gateway Management UI displays the selected remote integrator in the top bar, along with the associated group. Note that if there is only one group, no group UI is shown.
Each remote agent has one or more tabs, which are managed in the exact same fashion as Connexion (right-click on the tab).
In Connexion, many of the enterprise features can be associated with specific Groups, Tabs, and Channels. In the Gateway, enterprise features are only typically associated with Groups and Remote Agents.
