Remote Agents and Multi-Active Operations
Remote Agents and Multi-Active Operations
Connexion v26 improves Remote Agent administration and recovery, multi-active server operations and setup workflows.
Remote Agent administration. Gateway operators can select multiple Remote Agents for supported batch operations. Registration failures provide clearer diagnostics, and each agent publishes host metrics.
Connection recovery. Improvements cover idle sessions, Gateway reconnects, stalled statistics and forwarding through the Gateway that currently owns the Remote Agent.
Package distribution. Missing packages stream from Gateway storage to Remote Agents, including database streams that cannot seek backwards.
Remote queue inspection. Gateway management views stream message bodies and attachments from the owning agent. Failed exports identify unavailable messages instead of silently producing incomplete output.
Multi-active consistency. Ownership handoffs, ingress routing and global-setting propagation are more reliable across application servers. Offline servers can be decommissioned after their groups fail over.
Configuration and setup. The terminal wizard and command-oriented CLI support guided and unattended workflows. Improvements cover Linux service and data-directory handling, PostgreSQL version detection and database upgrade paths across supported backends.
