Development and Migration Tools
Connexion v26 improves custom-code authoring, package distribution and migration from v16.
Roslyn code editing. C# editors provide completion, diagnostics, formatting, quick fixes and refactorings. Quick actions that require creating a new file are not applied.
Faster custom-code startup. Cached compilation avoids unnecessary rebuilds while keeping source files, debug information and running assemblies consistent.
v16 upgrade assistance. Package import and failed compilation can offer a custom-code upgrade. Migration checks identify removed synchronous APIs and missing references. Plugins still require migration and rebuilding for .NET 10 and Avalonia.
Package publishing. Publish to NuGet repositories, including Azure DevOps feeds with sign-in support. Plugin exports preserve the selected version and its dependencies.
Database providers on Remote Agents. Connexion-managed ADO.NET provider packages can be distributed through Gateway, including packages containing providers without a device plugin. SQLite and DuckDB packages include platform-specific native libraries; DB2 is packaged for Windows. These are device database providers, not additional queue backends.
Data-context generation. Custom Code uses Linq2Db source generation for SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQLite and Firebird in place of the legacy Entity Framework model. Generic database features use the Connexion-managed provider catalog instead of machine-wide ADO.NET registration.
Software bill of materials. Per-product CycloneDX output supports dependency and license review.
