Queue Search and Message Handling
Queue Search and Message Handling
Connexion v26 makes queue searches and message operations more consistent, with improvements to large-payload handling and processing history.
Consistent search syntax. SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Mongo queues share case-insensitive search with wildcard patterns, quoted terms and AND/OR expressions. Free-text search covers inline bodies in active and archived storage; it does not search externally stored large bodies.
Precise message operations. Copy, status-change, purge and reprocess operations act on the intended message selection and filters. Unsupported query shapes are rejected instead of silently broadening an operation.
Large payload integrity. Improvements preserve large and binary bodies through queueing, forwarding, manual release and message-detail reads.
Large payload cleanup. Configured content deletion removes processed large stored bodies. Cleanup of unused payloads preserves content belonging to accepted messages.
Bounded history storage. Processing history preserves Unicode and uses bounded change previews for large transformed messages. A preview is distinct from the authoritative message content.
Processing efficiency. Streaming, bounded batches, reduced payload copying and efficient database writes reduce memory and processing overhead. Seekable attachment streams and optional encrypted local caching reduce repeated-read costs. See Performance Improvements for the server changes and comparison.
