Input, Delivery and Recovery
Input, Delivery and Recovery
Connexion v26 improves interoperability and recovery across input devices, senders and branching workflows.
Graceful shutdown. Accepted file, database, HL7 and remote input work is completed or checkpointed through the appropriate stop path, improving recovery after a channel stops.
File Reader recovery. Extracted inputs persist across restarts, and readers can resume from a local checkpoint left by a failed database checkpoint save.
File and FTP interoperability. Readers honor configured encodings across input formats; malformed CSV follows the configured error policy; archive input and ZIP attachment handling are more consistent.
File Writer correctness. Improvements cover Unicode output, time- and weekday-based file rollover, and Azure destination naming and overwrite behavior.
HTTP interoperability. Request headers, form decoding, values containing equals signs, route matching and cancellation responses are handled more consistently.
Kafka retries and offsets. Improvements preserve retryable batch outcomes, correct offset handling and mixed-payload ordering. Kafka's existing PreserveMessageOrder option remains available when channel ordering is required, with its single-partition throughput tradeoff.
Branching and forwarding reliability. Ordered branch batches, retry handling and backpressure are more consistent across multiple destinations, with improved deadlock avoidance.
