Bulk Channel Operations
As channels are visually organized into tabs, you can use the tab context menu to perform some bulk operations on all channels within a tab.
When you want to perform a bulk operation on channels across multiple groups and/or tabs, you must use the Channel Operations Dialog (ctrl + M). You can use this dialog to filter channels in the system, and then apply a number of different bulk operations.
You can filter on channel name, group, tab, repository, tag, and state to only display the set of channels you want updated. Once filtered, select all the channels in the grid (using the mouse or ctrl + A) and click the button for the desired bulk operation.
On the right-most column you can Start , Pause
, Unpause
, and Stop
the selected channels. When there are multiple devices which can be started or paused, a menu will be shown allowing you to select the desired device.
You can also bulk move or clone (copy) selected channels to a different group and tab. Select the desired channels and then click the Move To or Clone To options. Depending on how many groups are in your system, a menu or dialog will be displayed allowing you to choose the target.
The bulk operations available in the first column are:
Re-order channels (move selected up or down). The selected channels must all be within the same tab.
Delete selected channels.
Reprocess messages (admin mode required). Allows you to bulk reprocess all messages of a specific queue type and data range. A dialog is displayed to select the queue type and date range.
Purge messages (admin mode required). Purge all messages from all queues in the selected channels.
