Documentation Device
The Documentation Device is used to store content related to a specific channel. It stores both structured/formatted text (including in-line images) as well as arbitrary file attachments.
When creating a new channel, a Documentation Device is suggested as the first device.
The Documentation Device is a Non-Processing device - meaning it is positioned on the left side of the channel regardless of where you place it in the above dialog.
The documentation device stores one or more Notes, with each row in the table representing a note. You can add or remove notes using the icons in the header bar.
Each note has an optional Description, which can be edited by double-clicking in the Description cell (Enter to commit, Escape to cancel).
Content can be added/edited for the selected note by using the text editor in the lower half of the screen. This text editor supports basic formatting and inline images.
You can also add one or more Attachments (similar to email attachments) to a note. Simply click the attachments icon and select one or more files.
Right-click an attachment to Open, Save, or Delete.
