Gateway Change History

The Change History feature is a central place where changes to channel and device configurations can be viewed.

For viewing changes for a specific channel, you can also use that channels context menu directly.

When working with the Change History tab, you should first select a remote agent and channel from the filter drop-downs. You can then select two rows from the list of change histories to view the deltas.

Once two rows are select (use ctrl + click to multi-select), the bottom pane will display the configuration delta.

Note that each device within the channel which has changes will be shown normally, and unchanged devices will be faded.

There are several different views available, depending on which one you prefer. By default, the configuration in JSON format is displayed, with only changed lines highlighted (unchanged lines are hidden). You can click the Show Entire Configuration hyperlink to show all lines of the configuration, and the Side-by-side View hyperlink to view the old and new configurations in separate panes.

If you wish to revert to an earlier version of a channel, select the desired version from the Change Histories list and then click the Revert to Selected button.
