Correlation Key Search
A correlation key is a unique identifier which is assigned to each message when it is ingested or created in Connexion. Once assigned, this key is used each time the message is stored in a queue. For example, a message that is branched or forwarded from a remote agent or secure sender device will retain its correlation key.
By searching a message database for this specific key, we can determine the path a message has taken through each channel. This information is also used to build a channel trace diagram.
To perform a correlation key search:
Find and select the desired message in any queue.
Right-click on the desired message correlation key and select the
Filter…Withmenu item. You can also copy the correlation key to the clipboard (select the correlation key andctrl + c) and paste it into the column header.
The message table will display the results of the query, and include links to each queue the message was found within.
You can also use the Message Source Trace tool to display this information graphically.
